05 - 1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste
06 - 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
07 - 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
# How-To Steps:
01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 2–3 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain and immediately transfer to ice water to halt cooking. Drain well and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, toast sliced almonds, stirring frequently, until golden brown and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
04 - Add drained green beans to the skillet. Sauté, stirring frequently, for 3–4 minutes until heated through and crisp-tender.
05 - Season with sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice if using. Toss to combine evenly.
06 - Sprinkle toasted almonds over green beans and serve immediately.
